Confined Space Tracker™ Overview

Confined Space Tracker™ is designed to facilitate the safe entry of personnel into confined spaces. Confined Space Tracker™ provides an easy-to-use interface that enhances the collection, review, and management of information about confined spaces in accordance with company and OSHA regulations.

Confined Space Tracker™ maintains details about specific confined spaces including:

  • General description and site specific photographs of the area and entry point
  • Hazard Assessments and PPE Requirements
  • Entry Policies and Procedures
  • The Extraction Preplan and Emergency Response Procedures
  • Communication, Ventilation, and Lockout/Tagout Procedures
  • Area Isolation and Notification Procedures
  • Chemical Inventory, Contents, and Construction of the confined space
  • History of the confined space
Interface:

Confined Space Tracker™ is easy to use. The interface is designed to provide the information needed for employees to perform their job safely. To use Confined Space Tracker™, a confined space is selected by name or number from a drop-down list. The record is retrieved and all information related to the selected confined space is available to the viewer. The user can review the information on screen, print copies, and with the proper password, produce an entry or hot work permit.

Information and photographs related to each confined space are easy to input into the system. Information can be collected, entered, and maintained by existing staff after a short training session.

Automation:
Confined Space Tracker™ simplifies and facilitates the permit process and provides a consistent source of data. Confined Space Tracker™ automatically prepares entry and hot work permits, and maintains a list of employees with current confined space training that can be selected for inclusion on the permit. Each permit is saved in a permit history file that can be reviewed and sorted in custom reports.
